Induction programme of the UG & PG courses

The Induction programme of the UG & PG courses at CHRIST, Delhi NCR campus commenced  with the lighting of the lamp by Rev. Fr Dr. Viju P D, Rev. Fr Sunny Joseph, Honorable Chief Guest followed by Dr. Reeta Tomar, Ms. Jeanne Paulose, Dr. Padma and students.


Rev Fr Sunny started the introductory prayer. The PGDM Students, Prof Varnita Srivastava, Prof Sneha Saha and Prof Sanjib Bhattacharjee read the intercessory prayers and Dr (Fr) Viju Painadath read the concluding prayer.

Dr Fr Viju Painadath, Director, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR,  addressed the students about the beginning of the CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR. He spoke about the facilities provided to the students and what is expected out of them. He also addressed the parents regarding the changes that they will see in  their child after graduating from CHRIST. He discussed the academic schedule and calendar of events and motivated the students to participate in various extra-curricular activities.

Rev Fr Sunny Joseph also addressed the students and his words were motivating and inspiring for the young minds.

After the lunch break, a session was taken by Miss Anna Reshmy to brief the students on the SWO and CSA activities to  highlight the importance of taking part in them. This was followed by the session on the History, Vision, Mission and Core Values of CHRIST University by Ms Jeanne Poulose. She spoke about the establishment of CHRIST University and the values it upholds.


The next session was on Campus Navigation by Mr Prabhul Nair. He gave the inner and outer view of the campus, hostel facilities, laundry facilities, transport facilities, etc.

An Orientation to the Holistic Education was done by Mr Sanjay Rastogi where he specified the importance of holistic development in the students.


Counselling Services were briefed by Ms Shany Babu, the counsellor,  where she informed the students about the advantages of the Counselling sessions.


Orientation on Library Services was made by Mr Jerush John Joseph where he spoke about the services and facilities provided in the Library to the students.
