The undergraduate programme in Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance Technology (BBA FinTech Honours) is offered by the School of Business and Management to prepare young minds with a keen interest in finance to take up challenging positions in the financial segment. This industry led programme provides the platform to students aspiring to establish their presence in the Fin-Tech domain to train and equip to be able to meet with the challenges of a career in this sector that is witnessing number of technological disruption led changes. The Fin-Tech segment has evolved rapidly across the years, presenting exciting and challenging opportunities in domains spanning Banking, Capital Markets, Digital Finance and Alternative Finance. To meet this challenge and capitalise on these emerging opportunities the curriculum for the three year BBA (FinTech Honours) programme (6 Semesters), has been designed to enable the students to gain in-depth conceptual understanding and hands-on experience in the emerging Fin-Tech space as well as exposing them to the other functional areas of management. Students would be encouraged to pursue several value-added courses to strengthen their knowledge of Finance and Technology meant to aid financial decision making. In addition to this they are also given the opportunity for interdisciplinary learning through various generic electives from the streams of Economics, Psychology, Economics, Lawand Computer Applications.

The Placement, both for final jobs and Summer Internships is an important part of CHRIST university's activities. The university has a well laid-out systematic process of meeting students career aspirations and corporates expectations. The department maintains a regular interaction with the industry through seminars, guest lectures and conferences. The students are also assisted in identifying opportunities for their internships which are usually done in the summers for about six to eight weeks. The students are also encouraged to apply and participate in online internship projects. The internships help the students to enhance their career profile as well as allows them to apply the theoretical concepts absorbed in class to the real-world environment. In addition to all the above the industry integrated course allows numerous apportunities to students to engage with the corporate world giving them an edge over others.
The department has a strong mentor-mentee system in place. All students of the department are allocated a faculty mentor as soon as they join the course. The academic mentor acts as a valuable support system for the student. They help the students in transition from school to college. The academic mentor offers guidance and support to students by providing feedback on their academic progress and helping them to inculcate study skills to become effective learners. The University also engages peer mentoring by seeking the active involvement of students through buddy system to be able to support and mentor each other in their academic journey.
The students are offered extensive industry exposure through rigorous internships in Financial Institutions, Fin-Tech start-ups, Advisory firms etc., which is facilitated through our industry partner for this programme,“Edu Edge Pro Pvt Ltd” and our widespread existing corporate network. Seminars, workshops, guest lectures and industrial visits are also organised for the students to provide them the opportunity to connect with industry professionals and entrepreneurs.
Aimed at the holistic development of the students, the Department facilitates students’ participation in various National and International fests besides conducting several curricular and co-curricular activities through clubs and associations. The department under the aegis of management association has various clubs like co-curricular, sports, cultural and entrepreneurship club to cater to the diverse interests of the students. These clubs are run by students and organise a variety of events like quiz, debate, sports, dance/singing and other competitions. Students are also encouraged to participate in community development initiatives to sensitise them to the community needs.

The admit card with specific date, time and venue of selection process will be assigned and updated on the University website and must be accessed on "Application Status" link. The candidate must login by entering his / her registered Email ID and password.
Selection Process consisting of Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal Interview (SA_MP_PI) for candidates after Entrance test will be conducted in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region) | Kolkata | Pune, Lavasa | Bengaluru only.
Request for change in ET (Entrance Test), SA (Skill Assessment) MP (Micro Presentation) and PI (Personal Interview) dates / timing / Venue will not be entertained.
Applicants are advised to make all travel arrangements in advance as per the above published Important Dates.
Applicants are requested to carry a copy of their application printout and payment receipt along with the originals and one set of photocopies of the relevant academic records for verification.

As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode. Admission will not be processed without the presence of the candidate and the mandatory ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS and one set of photocopies mentioned below;
1. Class 10 Marks Statement (Mandatory).
2. Class 12 Marks Statement, if candidate has appeared and passed the examination (Mandatory).
3. Transfer Certificate (TC) of Class 12 from the last qualified institution (Mandatory).
4. Migration Certificate of Class 12 (applicable for all candidates except Uttar Pradesh state board applicants) (Mandatory).
5. One Stamp size and One passport size photograph formal dress with white background (Mandatory).
6. Two Copies of the Online Payment Receipt (Mandatory).
7. Copy of valid ID proof (Aadhar Card / Aadhar Enrolment Receipt).
8. Candidates falling under any of these categories (NRI / PIO / OCI / SAARC / AFRICA / ASEAN / OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS) have to submit:
a] Copy of Passport and Visa Details (Mandatory).
b] PIO / OCI have to produce the copy of PIO / OCI card whichever is applicable (Mandatory).

All mandatory documents must be submitted for verification during the admission process. An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing / passing their exam in March – June 2020], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before July, 2020. Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.
All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card). The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after commencement of classes, including fee payment will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.
Selected candidates who fall under International student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving at Campus.
The date of commencement of the academic Year 2020 - 2021 will be intimated during the admission process.
I) The University does not collect any type of capitation / donation other than the fees mentioned in the website.
II) CHRIST (Deemed to be University) does not authorize any Third Party / Agents / Person to apply / offer admission on its behalf. CHRIST (Deemed to be University) will not be responsible for applicants being misguided by such individuals / SMS / Email.
III) All those admitted to the programme will have to purchase a laptop at their own cost, if required by the department.
IV) Admitted students who wish to avail bank loan will be provided a recommendation letter on request by presenting the original fee paid receipt to the Office of Admissions.
V) The decision of the admission committee is final and binding.

BCom (Honours) Entrance Test is conducted across India for 2020-21 Batch, and Selection Process (SA_MP_PI) will be conducted in NCR (National Capital Region), Kolkata & Bengaluru only.
The Guidelines are as follows:
1. On processing the application, an E-admit card will be uploaded for the Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal Interview. The Centre allotment is based on the candidate’s preference on the application form and further change will not be entertained. However, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) reserves the right to cancel, combine or change the test Centre, depending on the number of candidates in specific Centres. The selection process E-Admit card will be generated 5 days prior to the scheduled selection process date.
2. Candidates can access the E-Admit card from the CHRIST (Deemed to be University) website at the link "Current Status of Online application" by typing his/her application number and date of birth.
3. You will not be allowed to appear for the Selection Process without the E-Admit Card, and the mandatory original documents (Class X and XI / XII) and a set of photocopy.
4. Candidates must report for the selection process at the allotted date and atleast 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated in the E-Admit Card
5. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process and the application fee is Non Refundable, in any case
6. The candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions
7. Request for change in Selection Process dates / timings and change in Centre will not be entertained.
8. Cellular phone, Satellite phone, pager. etc., are not allowed into the Selection Process Venue, in any case.
9. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Selection Process of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) at any Centre.
10. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for Admission rests with the student / candidate. Issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.
|Admission for NRI Student Category|
Students who fall under any of the following classifications, at the time of application may apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the course.
1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law
2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.
3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution / agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.
4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India.

Applicants may apply for the programme from 8 December, 2019 (NRI applicants opting for selection process in Kuwait/Dubai will be able to apply from 1 October, 2019) when applications will be available online on the University website till the date applications will officially close. Guidelines to applicants:
a) To fill the application you must have a copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Cards (whichever is available) (Mandatory) and Provisional degree certificate / Convocation certificate, if candidate has completed / graduated from the qualifying programme(Mandatory).
b) Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
c) Application registration fee may be paid through Credit / Debit Card / Net banking facility (for online applicants only).
d) Choose the payment option and fill-in the required details to process the “Application processing fee”. The application will be submitted online after payment of application processing fee.
e) After the payment is successful you will receive the application number with the option to print your application form.
f) Print and sign the application form. Keep a copy of the application form for further reference and to produce at the time of selection process.
