Techleons ,an intra-department IT fest, was organised by the department of computer science on 24 February'16. The event was held for the students by the students. Computer science students organised various intriguing events. The theme for techleons was game of thrones this year according to it, all the students were divided into 6 groups which were lannister,baratheon,martyl,stark,targareyn and tyrell.

Both technical and non-technical events were organized so that maximum students could participate. Technical events included coding,debugging and many more while non-technical events were junk art, jam, extempore and other interesting events. This year, three new events were being introduced by the core committee  which included, a football match between the 6 groups , an event called traders street which focuses on the handling of shares and it's finance  and an event called junk art which focused on creating useful things from the waste materials. The fest started with an inauguration ceremony in the sky view, central block proceeding with the starting of events. Soon After the completion of events , the valedictory function was held in the mini auditorium at 3:30 to appreciate  the  participation and co-operation by the students and encouraging more participation in the upcoming years. Certificates and coupon vouchers worth Rs 500, 300, 150 were given to the winners for their excellent performance in the events. High level of enthusiasm was noticed among the students during the Techleons.
