The Department of Computer Science, Christ (Deemed to be University), hosted an intra-departmental fest, Techleons 2020 on the 18th of February (Tuesday). Techleons celebrated its 10th year anniversary on this day.
Techleons is an intra-departmental tech fest, put together by the undergraduate students of the Department of Computer Science. This year, a total of 146 out of 710 students in the department worked hand in hand to conduct this event for the rest of their peers. The remaining students were grouped into 6 teams based on the theme “The Battle of Arcades” as Sonic, Mario, Pacman, Tekken, Roadrash and Contra.The students in groups competed against each other in the fest which conducted 7 technical and 7 non-technical events, namely IT Management Team,Clue Decoding,Blind Coding,Code Whisperer,Box of Enigma,Googler,IT Quiz,Treasure Hunt,Minute to Win It,Air Crash,Photography,Battle Royale-Gaming,Dumb Charades and Sacred Games
The prelims for all these events were conducted throughout the week from 11th-17th February, 2020 except for Photography. All students were allowed to take part in 2 events maximum, with compulsory participation in any one technical event. The finalists battled it out on the final day, the 18th of February.

The Inauguration of Techleons 2020 was done by Mr Naga Chokkanathan,Senior Software Development Engineer ,Amazon the  chief guest, followed by a prayer dance. The chief guest releasedn the Tricky Techies 10th edition. The Tricky Techies newsletter showcases the talents of the students who published their articles, poems and arts.

The various teams battled against each other with full vigor and enthusiasm. By 3 pm, the onset of the Valedictory of Techleons 2020 brought along with it a  list of winners, prize distribution and the announcement of overall champions of Techleons 2020. Team Tekken had bagged the trophy for emerging as the overall winners.
