Sports Club

The Sports Club has been initiated in the year 2021 under School of Sciences, Christ (Deemed to be University). It’s an intra department Sports Cell having different activities throughout the year. Sports is the essential part of a student's overall growth and considering this, the sports cell planned the different sports activity.The Sports Club aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster a sense of community among the students. It organizes various tournaments, workshops, and training sessions to encourage participation and skill development

 

Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell in CHRIST (Deemed to be University) was established in August 2020. The primary task of the IQAC is to develop a system for improvement in the overall performance of the Department of Sciences. The objective is to channelize all efforts and measures of the department towards promoting holistic academic excellence.

Curriculum Development Cell

Curriculum development is a process of improving the curriculum. Various approaches have been used in developing curriculum. The  steps are analysis (i.e. need analysis on the subject that have to be offered), design (i.e. structure), selecting (i.e. choosing appropriate learning/teaching methods and appropriate assessment methods) formation (i.e. formation of the curriculum implementation committee committee) and review (i.e. curriculum review committee).

The role of the CDC may also involve regular reviews and evaluations of the curriculum to identify any gaps or shortcomings and to suggest modifications or improvements to better align it with the mission and vision of CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Overall, the CDC plays a crucial role in ensuring that the curriculum is designed to support the educational goals of the institution and its students, and to help them achieve academic success.

 

Student Support Cell

This student-focused cell prioritizes the overall growth and advancement of students. Each undergraduate/postgraduate student's data is preserved, focusing on general official information, year-by-year results, co-curricular and extracurricular excellence, participation, and achievements, among other things. The Student Support Cell intends to serve as a focal point for resolving issues that students may have with their academics, career prospects, extracurricular activities.

 

Research Development Cell

 Research is significant in mathematics, statistics, and computer science, as it helps to advance knowledge and understanding of these subjects, leading to innovations and improvements in various industries. High-quality research can significantly impact society by improving engineering, finance, medicine, and environmental science applications, among other areas. The research cell in the School of Sciences facilitates collaboration and idea-sharing among scholars and researchers, leading to new theories and technologies. Additionally, research cells enhance the overall quality of education by keeping faculty members, scholars, and students up-to-date on the latest advancements in their fields. Ultimately, research cells play a crucial role in helping students submit quality Ph.D. theses, promoting innovation, fostering critical thinking, and advancing the frontiers of knowledge in various fields of study.

 

Department International Affairs Cell

The international cell has been initiated in the 2021 under School of Sciences, Christ (Deemed to be University). This cell is formed with a vision to establish collaborations with international organization’s for cross-cultural and academic exchange, summer and winter schools and international programs, conferences, placements and competitions. The cell aims to provide students with global exposure and opportunities to engage in diverse cultural and academic experiences. 

 

Discipline and Attendance Monitoring Cell

In order to maintain discipline and keep the record of the student attendance “Discipline and Attendance monitoring cell is created in the department. This cell will take care of disciplinary issues happening in the department and as per the recommendation of the committee, suitable actions are taken so that a disciplined culture will be maintained. On a regular basis student attendance is also monitored and remedial action is taken.  

Department Student Grievance Redressal Committee

In order to address grievances of the students the School of Sciences, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) formed the Departmental Student Grievance Redressal Committee (DSGRC). Mechanism for Grievance Redressal will depend on the nature of Grievance. All Grievances will be considered on their merits and will be enquired into by the Department. Necessary steps will be taken to resolve the issues within a reasonable period. 

Department Examination Cell

From the School of Sciences, the Departmental Examination Cell has been formed to monitor the activities related to examination. Conducting all examinations smoothly in the department is the prime responsibilities of the Examination cell. Further, Examination cell coordinates with the University regarding all examination matters. The Examination cell functions according to the rules and regulations of the university.

Department Faculty Welfare Cell

 The Faculty Welfare Cell provides a pleasant and encouraging work environment and to assist the Institutional community in achieving tremendous success. The Faculty Welfare Cell operates as a constituent cluster to offer a place for effective discussion and continuing consultation among employees. The goal of the cell is to listen effectively, connect, recognize employee needs, and foster their growth and well-being through effective leadership. This cell looks after the employees' needs to maintain high morale, ensure a good working environment for staff members, and arrange facilities for the staff.

 

EULIM Science Club

From the School of Sciences, the EULIM Science Club has been formed to engage the students in various technical and co-curricular activities. Self-expression, independent research, constructive activities, etc., are some of the opportunities provided by the science clubs. Students can learn more through the activities and their own experiments and clarify general scientific concepts. The coordination between the classroom and the science clubs help the students to complete their curriculum in a subtle way. Science clubs are sometimes considered as the backbones of the curricular activities in the schooll.

 Technical Club of school of Sciences (TCS)

The technical club of sciences (TCS) was initiated in the year 2023 under the School of Sciences, Christ (Deemed to be University). It’s an intra department technical club having different activities throughout the year. This technical club mainly focuses on student’s technical understanding and improving their overall technical skills which helps them to face the placement competitions. Under this club, we have organized numerous technical events and competitions.  Moreover, many more are in the pipeline for the upcoming session.
