ECOINSPIRE - The Economics Association

Following the success of our last expert talk by the eminent econometricians, a distinguished
professor of economics, Jeffrey M. Wooldridge, the Department of Economics is excited to
invite you to another interactive session by Professor N.Gregory Mankiw.
Professor N.Gregory Mankiw is the Robert M. Beren Professor of Economics at Harvard
University. Professor Mankiw is a prolific writer and a regular participant in academic and
policy debates. His research includes work on price adjustment, consumer behavior, financial
markets, monetary and fiscal policy, and economic growth. He has written two popular
textbooks—the intermediate-level textbook Macroeconomics (Worth Publishers) and the
introductory textbook Principles of Economics (Cengage Learning). Principles of Economics has
sold over two million copies and has been translated into twenty languages. Students from all
across the world rely on his books for the best understanding of economics concepts.
The event will be in the form of a virtual conference on 15th February 2024 and will be a half
an hour speech about his academic journey followed by a 30 minutes Q&A  session. Interested
students/faculties/Researchers can register through the link attached below. The joining link

to avoid any last-minute disturbances.
