Dr. Thirunavukkarasu V serves as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department. He earned his Doctoral Degree from Bharathiar University for his research on an optimized non-intrusive image tamper detection model using efficient block and key point descriptors. Dr. Thirunavukkarasu holds a B.Sc. and MCA from Bharathiar University and an M.Phil from Bharathidasan University. He qualified the State Eligibility Test (SET) conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu. With 16 years of teaching experience, his expertise spans image processing, computational intelligence, image security, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms. He has published over 30 research papers in reputed journals and conferences. His research received grants from VGST and DST-SERB. He has won awards for best paper and best researcher. Currently, he guides Ph.D. scholars and coordinates the Ph.D. program in the department.
