Dear Christies,
Welcome to the School of Social Sciences!
On behalf of our entire community of faculty, staff, and students, I extend a warm welcome.
As Dean of the School of Social Sciences, I am incredibly proud of the diverse and rigorous research and practice-oriented disciplines within our school. Our programs are designed to prepare students for a wide range of roles in practice, research, and administration. With offerings available across all university campuses, we provide greater access and a broader selection of options for prospective students. Our school is dedicated to interdisciplinary learning, engaging students and faculty in a variety of cross-disciplinary experiences and programs. We prioritize dynamic teaching methods and a research-driven curriculum, which are key to our students' success.
Our core values of social responsibility, integrity, and excellence guide our efforts to provide an outstanding educational experience in the social and behavioral sciences.
Additionally, I am proud of the rich and diverse expertise our faculty bring from industry, community, and academia. They possess extensive local and international experience from leading universities and industries. I invite everyone interested in social and behavioral sciences to explore our programs, whether online or by visiting any of our campuses.
In order to encourage the students to participate in departmental activities, our university gives access to students to make use of the multiple facilities provided in the campus.
Hello, I’m Pragya Lilly Mathew. I completed my Master’s in Economics and Analytics from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus.
My time at CHRIST was an enriching learning journey. Along with a rigorous academic curriculum, I had the opportunity to participate in various academic and cultural activities that helped me grow personally and professionally.
The program helped me build strong analytical and research skills. The faculty also encouraged us to engage in research, work towards quality publications such as Scopus-indexed journals, and gain exposure through conferences and international academic collaborations.
Thank you
Hello, I’m Pratham Nijhawan. I pursued my Master’s in Economics and Analytics from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus.
My journey at CHRIST has been both intellectually rigorous and transformative. The MSCEA program uniquely blends economics, data analytics, and applied research, enabling me to develop a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, econometrics, and data-driven decision-making.
Alongside academics, I worked extensively with analytical tools and programming languages, strengthening my ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The emphasis on research encouraged me to engage in high-quality academic work, contributing to meaningful projects and publications.
Overall, CHRIST has shaped me into a well-rounded professional, equipped with both analytical depth and practical problem-solving skills.
Hi, I’m Disha Das, an alumna of the B.Sc. Economics (Hons.) program at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR campus. I am currently pursuing my MBA at MDI Gurgaon.
My time at CHRIST played a very important role in shaping both my academic foundation and overall personality. The curriculum was rigorous and helped me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which later became extremely valuable during my CAT preparation and MBA journey.
What truly stood out for me was the emphasis on holistic development. Beyond academics, I had opportunities to engage in co-curricular activities, and discussions that significantly improved my confidence and communication skills.
