Our Objectives

  • To create awareness of the assessment process and practices of the University to the students and the faculty through orientation programmes.
  • To process and manage examinations as per the regulations of the University and the academic calendar in line with the statutory and regulatory bodies.
  • liaison with various Deaneries and implement department-specific assessments that guarantee security and confidentiality as per the university guidelines.
  • To ensure the process of awarding Degrees for various programmes adhering to agreed timelines and the University regulations.
  • To continually improve assessment practices through stakeholder engagement by innovative initiatives to enhance the quality of teaching and learning process  in the University.

Mission

To assess the learning levels of all the students as per the program learning outcomes and to recommend good assessment practices that ensure the graduate attributes specified by the University are ingrained in the students of CHRIST (Deemed to be University).

  • CIA REPEAT APPLICATION FOR MDC, THEORY, PRACTICAL and THEORY & PRACTICAL COURSES (JULY 2026)

    Dear Students,

    Greetings from the Office of Examinations!

    This is to inform you that the CIA REPEAT application form for MDC, Theory, Practical, and Theory & Practical subjects for the current academic year 2026-2027 (for odd and even semesters) is now available in your Student KP.

    Students who have failed a semester due to low CIA scores are eligible to apply.

    - Application Window: 22 July  2026 to  10 August 2026

    - Payment Mode: Offline only (Debit Card or UPI) at the Examination Office

    Important Instructions:

    - Submit the filled CIA REPEAT application form along with your failed semester marks card to the examination.

    - Applications submitted after 10 August 2026 will not be accepted.

    CIA REPEAT Guidelines:

    - Theory/Theory & Practical Course:

    30 hours of tutorials/library work (per subject)

    Either 2 hours/day for 15 days or 1 hour/day for 30 days

    - Practical Course:

    10 hours of tutorials/library work

    To be completed within 7 to 15 days

    - MDC REPEAT Course:

    10 hours of tutorial classes

    20 hours of library work

    For detailed information, please refer to the attached application form. 

    Note: No extensions or exceptions will be allowed beyond the mentioned deadlines. Kindly adhere strictly to the timelines.

  • ATTENDANCE ELIGIBILITY AND IMPORTANT DATES FOR CIA 2 | EVEN SEMESTER | ACADEMIC YEAR 2026-27

    Dear Students,

    Greetings of the day!

    As per the attendance policy, a minimum of 75% attendance in each individual course (including submission courses with department-level assessments) is mandatory to be eligible to appear for CIA 2. This requirement is applicable to all courses taught across all years.

    Students are advised to carefully refer to the detailed notification attached with this email and available on the University website for complete information.

    Students who do not meet the attendance requirement may apply for a Repeat CIA 2 by paying the prescribed fee, as per University norms.

    Greetings of the day!

    We are pleased to inform you that the results for the PhD September 2025 Coursework Examination – September 2025 cohort have been released for the Academic Year 2025–26. You may now view your examination results by logging into your Student Knowledge Portal (KP).

    Instructions to Candidates

    How to View Your Results:

    Log in to your Knowledge Pro Portal

    Navigate to the Downloads section

    Click on "My Marks Card"

    Please print your Coursework marks card on A4-size paper (Portrait format)

    Important Notes:

    PhD Scholars whose results are withheld must follow the instructions given in their student login.

    Any discrepancy or clarification in the marks card must be reported to the Office of the Controller of Examinations via email at exams.ncr@christuniversity.in on or before 25 July 2026.

    Last date to apply for Revaluation: 25 July 2026

    Revaluation applications must be submitted through the KP portal only

    Please Note:
    In case of any discrepancies in your results, report them only via email to exams.ncr@christuniversity.in. All queries will be responded to within seven working days.

    We encourage you to review your results promptly to ensure timely resolution of any issues.
