About us

National Cadet Corps (NCC), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR provides the opportunity to join the world's largest uniformed youth organization in the world  and helps them to build their character, gain skills of leadership and comradeship to excel not only in studies but also in the field of life. NCC at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR, devotedly trains the Cadets to imbibe and be responsible citizens of the country. CHRIST has NCC Army Wing open for male and female students under 37 Uttar Pradesh Battalion NCC. The NCC at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR, traces back to 2019. NCC offers a variety of activities and programs that help to instill important values, such as leadership, teamwork, and discipline. The activities also allow cadets to learn new skills and gain valuable experience.
Furthermore, NCC will enable cadets to interact with military personnel, participate in drills and other activities, and gain leadership and organizational skills. The activities of NCC at CHRIST are guided by specific core values that we endeavor to instill among the Cadets. The Company successfully produces go-getters who actively participate at the National levels camps like Republic Day Camp and Thal Sainik Camp. The Company provides an environment conducive to motivate cadets to join the armed forces. Participation in the NCC program at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR campus,  is voluntary but highly valued, as it provides students with opportunities to develop their personalities and acquire valuable life skills that will benefit them in their future careers and personal lives.
Training Programme: The University offers training under the Army Wing of the National Cadet Corps. Parades and theory classes are held during the afternoon session on Saturdays. The total number of parades in a year is twenty-four, and they will be held on the University campus. The regular parades include training in drills, map reading, weapon training, obstacle training and Military subjects (theory classes), etc. Alongside the regular parade, cadets will get training in weaponry, community service, and adventure. The training and activities include shooting, mountaineering, cycling expeditions, trekking, and other adventure sports. The Cadets are maximized, which also gives them a brighter future.
The CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR NCC training programme is well-structured, offering a solid blend of theoretical and practical training, including adventurous activities. It is a great endeavour to educate the nation's youth and motivate them to serve graciously to the country.
