Centre For Social and Policy Research (CSPR)
The Centre for Social and Policy Research (CSPR) is functioning as a part of CHRIST (Deemed to be University), focuses on social and policy research and advocacy. The Centre focuses on social issues and policies across the broader areas of Marginalisation, Social Inclusion, Education, Economy, Law, Administration, Health, and Labour Welfare. The Centre for Social and Policy Research has a rich history, rooted in its predecessor, the Centre for Social Research, founded in 1999. In 2022, the Centre was reinvigorated, emerging as the Centre for Social and Policy Research and was extended in 2025 at the Delhi NCR Campus. This transformation marked a strategic shift in our mission, placing a renewed emphasis on policy research and advocacy.
Our Vision
We believe in the ability of collective human effort to create a better and equitable society through advanced research and advocacy. We strive to build a knowledge society, which is founded on scientific data and methods, to promote equity and inclusivity of policies.
Our Mission
We strive to achieve social equity and promote inclusivity by providing people-centred research inputs to policy making. Towards this goal, we critically analyse policies and institutionalised practices across different layers of social and administrative systems to advocate the best for the benefit of our country and its people.
