The Office of International Affairs (OIA) serves as the university’s hub for global engagement, driving international partnerships and advancing the institution’s global mission. As the gateway to CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR’s international presence, OIA oversees collaborations that span joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchanges, academic conferences, and strategic partnerships with universities and research institutions worldwide.
Through its dynamic programs, the OIA promotes academic excellence, cultural exchange, and innovation across borders.
It facilitates both student and faculty mobility, ensuring seamless participation in exchange programs, immersion projects, and global learning opportunities. Students are encouraged to explore diverse academic ecosystems, while faculty engage in international research collaborations that enrich teaching and scholarship on campus.
The OIA also coordinates the university’s international delegations, visiting scholars, and global conferences, building enduring academic bridges that strengthen CHRIST’s visibility and credibility in the global education community.
Inspire Global Learning
To lead, coordinate and provide comprehensive internationalization with the goal to contribute to society and develop excellence in sustainable global competencies for academicians and graduates and to provide the university as a learning ground for international scholars
Collaborating with CHRIST University students during the Singapore Immersion Program was inspiring. Their professionalism, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning were impressive. The program was a great example of how global internships can cultivate leadership, innovation, and intercultural awareness
The Japan Exchange Program centered around the theme of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provided students with valuable insights into sustainability practices. Beyond the classroom, exposure to Japan’s rich heritage and progressive societal framework instilled a strong sense of global citizenship. The structured interactions with Japanese faculty and peers fostered meaningful academic relationships and opened avenues for future research collaborations.
The Office of International Affairs initiated diplomatic ties with the Embassy of the Republic of Chad, marking the beginning of meaningful academic and cultural cooperation. Discussions with the First Secretary focused on shared goals in higher education, innovation, and global citizenship, reflecting CHRIST University’s commitment to academic diplomacy and cross-cultural collaboration.
