On 18th July 2017 MTech Structural Engineering students accompanied by 4 faculty members (Dr SujathaUnnikrishnan, Prof. ThejasGowda, Dr Narasimha Murthy, Prof. Adarsh) visited casting yard of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited, located at Kanmanike. Students got an exposure to application of prestressing and casting. A technical staff of the company, accompanied students and explained the procedure that they follow. They had elements at different stages of construction, so students had a good opportunity to see and discuss. Overall, it was a good learning experience.
