The Office of International Affairs initiated diplomatic ties with the Embassy of the Republic of Chad, marking the beginning of meaningful academic and cultural cooperation. Discussions with the First Secretary focused on shared goals in higher education, innovation, and global citizenship, reflecting CHRIST University’s commitment to academic diplomacy and cross-cultural collaboration.
A delegation from the OIA visited the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in New Delhi to explore academic and cultural collaborations. The meeting celebrated mutual values of learning and global understanding and laid the foundation for future exchange initiatives that extend beyond academics.
On July 11, 2025, OIA hosted an interactive session featuring representatives from DAAD, DFG, Max Planck Society, and the German Embassy, New Delhi. The dialogue provided students and faculty with insights into academic opportunities in Germany, scholarships, and collaborative research frameworks. The session strengthened Indo-German educational relations and inspired many young scholars toward global research mobility.
Students from CHRIST University participated in a two-week social entrepreneurship program at Edge Hill University, United Kingdom, gaining exposure to global innovation, leadership, and sustainability. The program included field visits, workshops, and interactive sessions with entrepreneurs, fostering practical learning and cultural exchange.
The Annual International Summer Program 2025 brought together 15 students from partner universities across the globe to CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, for a week of cultural learning and creative collaboration. The program featured immersive sessions in art, theatre, and dance, complemented by social outreach workshops in partnership with the Centre for Social Action (CSA). The program fostered global friendships, artistic expression, and a shared understanding of humanity that extended far beyond borders.
Through AIESEC’s global exchange platform, CHRIST University students interned in Cairo and Zagazig, collaborating with organizations such as Wesal Academy and Zagazig Tours. The internships offered hands-on experience in marketing, digital communication, and international operations, helping students develop leadership skills and cross-cultural adaptability.
The Global Fusion Week 2025 was a five-day interdisciplinary program designed in collaboration with Taylor’s University, Malaysia, blending creativity, storytelling, and academic inquiry. The week opened with sessions on the art of crafting hooks and storytelling for digital platforms, where students experimented with SMART strategies and interactive exercises. Mid-week activities explored the psychology of storytelling and the cultural nuances of communication, culminating in team-based content creation and presentations. To add a global touch, participants were also introduced to Malay vocabulary and cultural elements, enhancing the international learning experience. The event celebrated creativity, cross-cultural understanding, and the power of narrative as a tool for connection.
Held from August 23–31, 2025, the Japan Exchange Program in collaboration withSophia University, Japan immersed students in discussions on sustainability, gender equality, and circular economy practices. Students participated in cultural nights, ecological tours, and policy workshops—developing a deeper understanding of Japan’s approach to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The exchange emphasized experiential learning, global citizenship, and academic collaboration.
The OIA, in collaboration with CAPS, hosted a high-level delegation from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, including Dr. Dayle Smith and Dr. Ammar Dalal. Discussions centered on leadership, research collaboration, and curriculum development. A masterclass on “Leadership in Turbulent Times” offered MBA students valuable lessons in adaptive leadership and global management.
On September 1, 2025, the Office of International Affairs inaugurated its Student Representative Council in the presence of Dr. Cameron Hay Rollins, Miami University, USA. Dr. Rollins also conducted a faculty interaction session with the Department of Psychology, discussing cross-disciplinary collaboration between anthropology and psychology.
Fifteen students participated in a week-long applied internship program in Singapore, combining corporate exposure and cultural learning. Collaborating with peers from STADA Singapore, students engaged in live projects on industry research and cross-cultural communication. The program concluded with project presentations evaluated by STADA leadership.
Three students from CHRIST University, Delhi NCR Campus, attended the Citizenship and Democracy Week at Miami University, Ohio, from September 11–21, 2025. The program offered first-hand insights into U.S. governance, legal systems, and civic participation through visits to the Supreme Court, Capitol Hill, and interactive sessions with law faculty.
In collaboration with the Max Planck Society and University of Cologne, OIA organized a two-day workshop on Grant Writing and Project Management. Led by Mr. Salvatore Angillette from EU Grant Affairs, the sessions trained participants in writing, funding strategy, and proposal evaluation for international research grants.
The Winter School on “Innovating Research and Pedagogy: Interdisciplinary Frontiers in Management and Law” was conducted in collaboration with Katho University, Germany. The four-day program (October 13–16) included sessions on child protection, substance abuse prevention, and refugee law, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A specialized student exposure program in partnership with SAMViT Management Consultants Pvt. Ltd., the Global Immersion Program offered participants practical industry experience through field visits, mentorship, and skill-based workshops, enabling them to apply theoretical concepts in global business contexts.
