Capacity Building

  • Organize regular seminars and talks on population and development themes.
  • Offer workshops and training programmes to build research and analytical skills.
  • Provide internship and fellowship opportunities for students to gain research experience.
  • Host Visiting Scholar and Practitioner-in-Residence programmes for expert mentoring.

Community Connect

  • Outreach programmes will connect academic learning with local communities.
  • Field engagements will allow students and faculty to link research with real- world social challenges.
  • Partnerships with NGOs and community organizations will support practical learning and participatory development.

Knowledge Creation

  • The Centre will publish research papers, articles, policy briefs, and working papers on population and development themes.
  • Students will contribute short blogs and write-ups to share their field experiences and insights.
  • A regular newsletter will highlight the Centre’s activities, research findings, and upcoming events.
  • A comprehensive data repository will be maintained for researchers and policymakers.
  • The Centre will undertake research projects funded by agencies such as ICSSR and the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
  • Joint research projects will be developed with other universities and research institutions in India.
  • The Centre will also seek international collaborations to conduct comparative and applied research.
